Here is my Haldir from Lord of the Rings, I painted for a real nice guy in the Chicagoland area. He wanted a standard color scheme, and non metallic metal areas and more muted cloth areas.
Here are some of the colors I used:
Flesh: Base - P3 Midlund Flesh + P3 Menoth White + a dab of GW Elf Flesh, Shadows - blended down with P3 Sanguine base + GW Scorched Brown
Blue: P3 Sanguine Base + P3 Cygnar Blue, used P3 Menoth White for highlights
Red (Cloak): GW Bestial Brown + GW Blood Red. Shaded with P3 Sanguine Base + P3 Battlefield Brown + Black, highlighted with P3 Midlund Flesh.
NMM Gold: P3 Battlefield Brown to GW Snakebite Leather to GW Bubonic Brown to White
That's about it, took under two weeks to complete, and the buyer was very pleased with the result! :)
